Here is a version of a jet airplane that we made for a school project. The wood cutout of the jet comes in two different thicknesses, 1/8" and 1/4". We make the wooden jet in 4 different sizes. The small jet measures 5" x 3" (sold in a package of 10), the medium measures 8" x 5", the large measures 12" x 7.5" and the jumbo measures 18" x 11.25". The jet are sold individually except for the small size. We cut with high quality Baltic Birch plywood. The laser cuts with light and leaves a brown edge with a light smoky residue on the surface of the wood. A light sanding will remove the residue, but if you are painting, simply paint over the surface with a high quality craft paint.
